Darts Ontario "B" Division Ladies All Star Shoot

MTADL Ladies Results
Darts Ontario held their Ladies "B" Team all star shoot on Saturday February 20th at the RCL Branch # 73 in Scarborough.
Our ladies all star team played extremely well on that day.
In round robin play, we opened against Scarborough Pub who we defeated 9-3 losing only 3 single matches which were very close.
The second round we faced Under A Ton # 1 losing only 1 doubles match and 1 single match to post a 10-2 win.
Our last round robin match we face RPDL and defeated them 9-3 again only narrowly losing 3 single matches.
In the quarter final knockout game we fought hard against Scarborough City (host league team) but lost in the final singles match.
Some of the highlights of the day during our four rounds:
Marian shot a 180 and took out the game in 13 darts.
Georgina took out 1 15 dart game and Jen a 16 dart game.
Georgina won all her single matches, lost only 1 double match.
Vicky shot a 153, lost only 1 single match and won all her double matches.
Dawn and Marian both lost only 1 double match a 1 single match each.
Alyson playing in her first All Star event shot a 133 and won 3 out of 4 matches.
Giselle Also won 3 out of 4 matches.
The Ladies would like to thank the following for coming out and showing their support for the team:
Doug Pane and John Goyen who were with them all day, Dave Kucera, Mervyn McClerry, Virginia Brooker, Pat Catermole, Gina Schwamborn, and Suzanne Bennott (Suzanne took the photo). They would also like to thank their friends from Scarborough Al, Cliff and Harry. Not only did they come out and support the ladies, many, of them also chalked games for them which they really appreciated.
